6. Are there enough artificial lighting sources? Do your task and reading areas have the appropriate light fixture?
7. Are the textures in your room indicative of your family's style? Are they slick and satiny or soft, nubbly or fuzzy?
8. Is the room color pleasing, striking, relaxing or energizing? Is the color dated? Is it a great background to the other design choices of the room?
9. Does the design of the room cause the eye to move around the room - taking in everything?
Asking these questions before you start a design will give you a better idea of what you need to change, remove, add, or highlight. Are you ready to design?
