Our family travels for Thanksgiving, so I am thankful that I get a break this holiday and don't have to organize a huge feast (I get my turn at Christmas), but most of us enjoy planning and preparing food for ourselves and others.

I love to spend a cold winter's day in my warm kitchen, fixing nutritious foods (and not-so-nutritious goodies!) that my family will enjoy. And decorative and Thanksgiving-themed foods have another bonus - they look great sitting on a buffet, often making it all the decoration that one needs.
