Hello, sweet Friday! I'm so thankful the weekend is almost here. I've been pushing hard to finish a laundry room and master closet redesign (you can see my mid-project chaos here), and I'm off to purchase the shelving this weekend. This can only mean one thing ... I'm almost finished! (Do I even need to mention that I'm jumping for joy?)
To celebrate projects completed, projects in process, and dreamers who want to one day be project pros, I'm hosting a Friday round-up featuring the best of budget decorating ideas that I've run across this week.
If you know of a project, decorating idea or blog that you would like featured (maybe even one of your own!), email me the link to the post or send in your photo(s). I'd love to see what you're up to!New at Budget Decorating

The minute I saw it, I instantly fell in love with this giant butterfly by Lucy Designs. Made from scrap materials, this butterfly not only looks amazing but is eco-friendly. I want one hanging around in my backyard!
I don't have a clothesline, but I'm thinking about adding one (or maybe a zip line, kids?) just so I can recreate this beautiful look by Not Just a Housewife. I've featured Stacy's blog before and will again because she's constantly coming up with ultra-creative ideas like this one!
My oh my, what cuties these stitched furniture silhouettes by Flamingo Toes are! And psst... Beverly shares how she does it, too. (Thanks for the tutorial, Bev!) These are perfect as they are, but it might also be fun to recreate these with a different style furniture. (Mid-century modern, anyone?)
Jenn of Clean & Scentsible has finally broken out the spray paint, and we are all the better for it. Her spray-painted summer storage bin is fabulous! Whoever thought we'd be looking forward to those tins of popcorn this Christmas?
Big thanks to these amazing bloggers for letting me share their ideas. Now off to do a little crafting of my own...Connect with Budget Decorating on Facebook!
